Student Development

There are currently 20 people in the Laboratory of Inflammation and Vaccines, including 4 full/associate professors, 3 post-doctoral fellows, 6 assistants/technicians and 7 postgraduate students. 

It is expected that, in the near future, we will recruit other 1-2 full professors, 2-3 associate professors, postdoctoral fellows, research assistants, secretaries, students, to about 40 people in total. Professor Diana Boraschi, the academician of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR, Italy), is the director. Professor Aldo Tagliabue, the scholar of “Changjiang Scholar Program”, is the chief scientist. Professor Li Yang is the deputy director. The laboratory consultants including Professor Charles A. Dinarello, who is the academician of the National Academy of Sciences USA and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences, winner of the Crawford Prize of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and Distinguished Professor at the Colorodo University, and Professor Rino Rappuoli, who is a Foreign Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences USA, a Foreign Fellow of the Royal Society UK, and a Sabin Prize winner, Head of Science and External Research and Development, GSK Vaccines Division.
